—On the occasion of World Disability Day, Govt. of Karnataka Dep't of Women & Child and Senior Citizen recognized the services of Aruna Chetana provided to special children and our Managing Trustee Shri.Sreedhar Sagar Ji was conferred with the  State award.

Recognistion - Bangalore Rotary West honoured Arunachetana for the services and commitment towards the cause of the special children on the occasion of SAMBANDH-2013

Aruna chetana is proud of the relentless service rendered by dedicated teachers and staff. To acknowledge, Aruna chetana Committe and Rotary Inner Wheel Club- Rotary Bangalore recognized their services with a token of appreciation by sponsoring a fitting gift to all te staff members who are committed towards the cause of children with special needs and multiple disabilities on 5,September 2013 at Vocational Training Centre. Arunachetana committee honoured the teachers with gift mementoes and the students presented a dance recital for their teachers on the occasion. It was a special day for the staff and the students.

Thyagaraj K is a mild intellectually impaired person with profound hearing impairment and communication disorder. Underwent training in our institute for 8 years. presently working as Assistant vocational instructor since 5 years.

Saraswathi is an auditorily challenged person. She joined our school in 1996. After initial training in Aruna Chetana for 3 years, she was integrated to normal school. Presently leading a normal married life.
